"Decent site, just a little clunky"
The DMC site is okay overall, but I did find it a bit slow and kind of fiddly to get around. I was on my phone and some pages loaded a little strangely, then when you’re trying to find a specific thread shade, it takes more clicking around than you’d expect.
Checkout worked fine in the end, and the product details are useful, so it’s not a bad experience. I just think the site could feel smoother, because you do notice the clutter in a few places...

"Shipping was a bit hard to justify"
To be fair, the items themselves are really nice and I was happy with what I found. But the shipping cost was just way too high for me and kind of took the excitement out of it...

I ordered some thread from dmc.com expecting it to feel nice and smooth for stitching, but nope. It felt rough and scratchy in my hand the whole time, almost stiff instead of soft. what a joke. I was disappointed and I don’t think I’ll be ordering it again.

"I was a little unsure at first..."
I was a little unsure at first, but once I got everything, I went back and checked the info again and it was pretty much spot on. There were a couple of tiny details that weren’t exactly the same, but nothing major enough to bother me. Overall, what was described matched what I received, so I was happy with it

"Okay customer service, but a little slow"
I reached out to dmc.com with a question about my order, and they did get back to me, but it took longer than I was expecting. Not sure how to explain it, but it wasn’t bad service exactly, just slower than I’d hoped.

The person who replied was polite and did help with what I needed, so I can’t really complain too much. I just wish the updates had come a bit faster. Overall, it was fine, not great, not awful. 3 stars feels about right

"Wrong items in my order, and now I don’t really trust them"
My order showed up with the wrong stuff in it, which was already frustrating, but the way support handled it made it worse. I reached out expecting them to fix it properly, and they kind of brushed it off without really solving anything. Mistakes happen, I get that, but now I’m left feeling like I can’t trust them to get an order right or make it right when they don’t.

Maybe it’s just me, but it seemed like a few of the colors I wanted were out of stock. I still managed to find a couple things I needed, though, so it wasn’t a total miss.

"Rewards are okay, but little confusing"
I signed up for the DMC loyalty program because I order threads often, so I figured it would be nice way to get something back.

The points are good to have, but it feels like it takes while before you actually get any real discount. I also thought the rewards page was little confusing and I had to click around more than I expected.
My orders and shipping have been fine, no real issue there. I just wish the loyalty perks felt more useful overall. It is not bad, but not amazing either, so 3 stars from me

"Can’t really justify the price"
I ordered from DMC because I had it in my head that the quality would be a bit more premium for the price. i don’t remember anything about the order really standing out, other than the total being higher than I expected once shipping was added. The items were fine, I guess, but not anything I’d go out of my way to buy again. I know I’ve picked up similar stuff elsewhere for less, so this just didn’t feel like great value to me. Probably won’t order again.

"Fabric is fine, but nothing special"
The fabric feels okay overall, but it’s a bit thinner than I expected. I wouldn’t say it’s terrible, just not amazing either. Also, the whole experience felt kind of impersonal, like I was just another ticket number instead of an actual customer

"Colors were a little off"
So... I ordered a few threads from dmc.com and most of them were totally fine, but two of the colors looked a bit different from what I saw on the site. Not a huge deal, but it was kind of annoying since I was trying to match them for a project.

I noticed the colors aren’t always exactly the same. Some shades look a bit different than expected, so you might not get a perfect match every time

"A simple issue made way harder than it needed to be"
I got in touch with DMC about an issue I was having and was told it would be sorted, but it never really was. It felt like something simple got dragged out for no reason. I kept having to follow up, and the replies seemed like the same copy-paste message each time. No clear answer, no proper update, just me waiting around. Maybe other people have had a better experience, but for me the whole thing was really frustrating.

"Tracking was confusing and the queue was annoying"
My order did show up in the end, so that part was fine, but the tracking was confusing. It just sat on the same status for days with no real update, then all of a sudden it said it was out for delivery. I even had to wait in a queue to try and get some info, which was frustrating when all I wanted was a basic update. The items were okay when they arrived, but I really wish the delivery tracking was more accurate.

"Wish there were more color options"
I was excited to start using it, but the thread color selection felt limited. It made me realize how much the right colors matter when you’re trying to make a project feel personal or match the idea in your head. Overall, it’s okay, but I really wish there were more shades to choose from...

"Still waiting for my refund"
I sent my order back weeks ago and I’m still waiting on the refund to show up (which is getting frustrating). I’ve emailed a few times, but the replies feel like the same copy-and-paste response every time. Really annoying experience overall, and I don’t think I’ll be ordering from them again.

"Not worth the hassle"
I was disappointed with this thread. It kept snapping while I was using it, which made the whole project way more frustrating than it should’ve been. it feels like poor quality for the money, and I wouldn’t buy it again.

"Checkout Glitched, but the Charge Still Went Through"
I tried checking out and noticed the whole thing crashed right at the payment step. At first I figured it was just a random glitch, but then I checked my card and the charge was there anyway. I’ve been watching for updates and trying to see if there’s any pattern to how they handle these payment issues, but support still hasn’t fixed it or really given me a clear answer.

"I ordered maybe 5 or 6 DMC threads..."
I ordered maybe 5 or 6 DMC threads from dmc.com for a small cross stitch project, and at first I was happy with them. The colors looked nice right out of the package and were basically what I expected from the pictures.

After I washed the finished piece, most of the shades still looked fine, but one of the darker ones seemed a little more faded or dull than before. It wasn’t some huge change, maybe like 10% off, but it was enough that I noticed it when I looked closely.

For the price, I thought the color would hold up a bit better. I’d still use them again, but next time I’d probably be more careful with washing or test a small piece first

"Nice colors, but the tangles got old fast"
I’ve ordered from dmc.com a few times the colors are really pretty. But the thread still tangles more than I expected, and I don’t have the patience to keep stopping and picking out knots every few minutes. It’s not awful, but if you pull too much at once, it gets knotty quickly. Shipping was fine and the website was easy enough to use. For the price, though, I expected it to be a little smoother to work with. 3 stars from me.
